Last Lake House Visit for Summer 2019

Bobby and Valerie will be heading up to Maine in a few days and won't return until the end of September.  Owen was visiting them for a couple of days, and we were invited over, but Bob's sciatic pain was still a problem.  He called his family doctor and was able to get an appointment for that afternoon, so I went by myself.

After a yummy lunch of hoagies, we set out for a pontoon ride.  Here Grand Dad is warming up the engine with his co-captain Owen while first mate Valerie unties the moorings.

In the shade under the bimini top the breeze was chilly.  Nana V and O decide to huddle together.

Owen realized if he came up front across from me, he could catch some rays.

so that Grand Dad and Owen can kick back together.

After docking, we all headed to Tugaloo State Park (which is just down the road from the lake house) so that Owen could go to the beach...

while Nana V plays lifeguard...

and Bobby and Honey enjoy the shade.

A farewell hug with Owen, and then I was on my way home.
