Georgia/Tennessee Road Trip October 2024

Been a long time since I updated the blog.  Sometimes it doesn't feel that there is much that is "blog worthy", but I do like having the photo-journal, so here I am again.  We did go to Watstadler Campground again in August, but it was quite uneventful. What was eventful in August was the birth of another great-grand, Fisher.  His big sister, Saylor, is very happy, as are mommy and daddy, and grandparents and great-grand ones, too.

Our next outing was in October when we went  back to Morganton Point in Georgia.

This is the bridge that crosses over the Toccoa River which forms the border between Georgia and Tennessee.  The scenic train from Blue Ridge stops here for tourists to take the river walk among shops and restaurants.  McCaysville, GA is on the left and Copperhill, Tennessee on the right.

We stopped at a quaint store called the Folk Collaborative....a long time family owned farm offering herbal teas and remedies, baked goods, and a down home feeling.

List of House Rules including "We love kids, but ours are grown up and our job is done.  Watch your kids yourself."

I loved seeing all the herbs in the store.
