Charlie Dog had gotten sick starting on Wednesday, and got progressively worse so that we had to take him to the vet Saturday morning. $509.92 later, the vet informed us, that he "evidently picked up something." At least the vet did not find any problems. We think something must have bitten him while we were in SC because he had yelped and jumped up from his bed when we were sitting outside. Saturday afternoon, we had a delicious dinner at my cousin Adele's house. Thanks Adele!!! By Sunday, Charlie was doing much better, which took a load off our minds. Sunday afternoon, we visited with more of my father's relatives in North Haledon.
In the middle is my father's niece, Anne Rose. We met her brother John on our Thursday night visit. To her left is her daughter, Sherri, who hosted our get together in her lovely new townhome. On the right is Judi, my father's great niece.
This is Ann Veliky, Judi's mom. Ann's mother, another Ann, was my father's sister.
These handsome fellas are enjoying coffee an' on Sherri's deck. Brian, Judi's husband is at the table with Bob, and standing is Judi and Brian's son, Dean.
This is Sherri's dog, Savannah. She's twelve and can't see or hear too well. If you start petting her and then quit, she'll moan and make you feel guilty, so you have to pet her some more. Except for her long legs and long tail, she looks like her "cousin" Charlie Dog.
Thanks for the wonderful visit, Sherri.
