Feb 2023 - Home Improvement 101

 Back from Florida, and into the doldrum month of February.  Bob has recovered from both recent surgeries and is eager to get back to the projects he had to put on the back burner the past year.

We still have a problem with excessive water under the house, so Bob started working on another French drain.  Here he is tunneling under the concrete walk to be able to lay the drain which will go down to the front drive.

Tunneling is complete and the drain will be buried in the ground once the rest of the trench is dug.

It took a month of heavy manual labor, but Bob managed to get the pipe down to the split railing.

And in his "spare time" he installed recessed lighting in the G-Room (converted garage).
