Inside and out April 11 2015

Little by little, things are coming together.  I've planted some roma tomatoes and green pepper plants that seem to be doing well.  A hydrangea plant now decorates one of the deck landings.  I have always loved their majestic look, but was not successful in growing them in Bonita.  When it rains, the red clay becomes a thick mud.  We are using the free mulch available at camp as a temporary "sponge" fix until Bob can figure out a better landscape solution.
The deck...our favorite hang out at day's end.  We put bamboo screens at one end to block the view of the trailer that is right next to us.  That section of the deck is where our new bbq grill is.  We brought our fire pit from Bonita, but will use it as a table on the deck once we can find the grill piece that goes on top.
A view from the deck of  the vegetables below.

Several folks have asked how Charlie  Dog is adapting.   The deck is his favorite hang out place, too.

When you come in the door, you enter the kitchen.  With smaller counter and cabinets,  I decided to "stack up" to maximize space.
Both the sink and gas stove/oven have removable granite covers which allow for some work space.

For those of you who didn't get to see the inside of the RV, this is a partial view of the living area which is in the front of the unit.  The tv on the wall is 55".  The fireplace is electric, and can be used as a heater.  There is another couch and matching cabinet on the opposite side of the fireplace,  and my lounge chair is in the corner.

The bathroom is on the same level as the kitchen.
The bedroom is on the upper level at the opposite end of the living room.  This layout makes 3 distinct living areas, which we like better than having the kitchen and living room combined as it is on our older trailer.

Bob on mulch duty.  I know we will continue to make changes and improvements both inside and out in the days to come.
