One area of the park contains a recreated pioneer village
including a church
A covered bridge leads to the village, beach and picnic area. The park's website boasts that is a wonderful place for a family outing.
However, I didn't see the fine print that prohibited pets until we got there. Now I ask you, how could a park be family friendly yet not allow pets????
