We decided to drive up to Deer Park in part of the Olympic National Forest. After going about 10 miles, we came to the park and the sign about the road. We thought we would be ok since we didn't have the travel unit, but the muddy dirt roads and blind turns made us decide we didn't want to be bear meat, so we found a place where we could turn around and headed back to civilization. What we couldn't understand is why a sign isn't posted at the base of the road advising about the unpaved road and its condition beforehand.
