Moosehead Lake Area and More Moose Sightings

Wednesday we went to the Greenville area to see Moosehead Lake and Lily Bay State Park.   We had lunch at  "Aunty M's" in Greenville across from the lake.  We overheard a man saying he wintered in Bonita Springs.  Bob went to talk to him, and he has a place in Citrus Park, just downt the road from us!  There is a paddle boat cruise that you can take across the lake, but it looked like it was going to rain, and it did, so we were glad we didn't go out.  We went into the Moosehead Trader which had beautiful furniture and crafts not to mention a king size moose.  The owner was very nice and said I should sit in the moose's lap for a photo so I did.  She winters in Brooksville, FL.  The flying moose was on the side of the road in front of a large estate.  The sign in front of it told of an Indian legend where a moose grew wings in order to save his Indian friend from drowning when they were both swept into the river.
