Saturday, May 8th, thankfully the wind subsided. Temp stayed in the 40's, but good traveling along Route 2 known as The Sandhill Journey. Saw a sign that we crossed into Mountain Standard Time. Unfortunately, our bodies are still on EST. Soon as we saw the sign, I checked my cell phone, and sure enough it was an hour earlier, on MST. How does it do that? Trains labeled BNSF, which we later found out stood for Burlington Northern Santa Fe, followed our path going in to Alliance, NB, home of the BNSF railroad.
