North Jersey

The rain came as promised which made it "fun" to pack up and head out.  We had decided to take Rte 206 up to Jefferson Township since we weren't in any hurry.  The rain continued with us most of the way.  The road took us through blighted downtown Trenton and past professorial palaces in Princeton, and then to the place we stay while in north Jersey,  Mahlon Reservation in Morris County.  This is the first time we've been there in the spring, and we enjoyed the feel and look this time of year brings.
