Photo on left shows what we thought was a flat land coming out of the Dixie National Forest. The amount of snow was a surprise as we did not seem to be at a high elevation. Just a few miles down the road and another "WOW". What a great view, we could see for at least 20 miles. The photo does not show all the rises and valleys that we could see. But it is really a wonderful thing to see. We later saw a sign that said elevation was 9,777 feet, just before we started to go down the long 5 mile drop.
