This is a shot as we crossed the Columbia River from Astoria, OR into Washington. I couldn't take one sooner...the old steel arch bridge right out of Astoria was about 85 feet high and construction was being done on it, so my eyes were closed most of the way, especially since Bob commented that he expected it to fall down any moment. Now that I've crossed into Washington, I have been in every state in the continental US. Bob still has a few more to go before he can complete the "map".
