This marina is across from the RV park where we're staying tonight and tomorrow in Sequim, about 10 miles east of Port Angeles off Rte 101. It is the "John Wayne Marina". I wondered why it was called that, so I stopped in to see the harbormaster who explained the land was donated by John Wayne's estate. Turns out, the estate also owns the land our rv park is on, plus another 150+ acres around it. Tomorrow we will head west on 101 to the tip of the northwest Washington coast before heading back southeast and inland.
