Today, Wednesday, June 16th, we took State Road 112 from 101 heading west to Cape Flattery, which is located on the Makah Indian Reservation, and is the northernmost point of continental US. The road follows along the Strait of Juan de Fuca and ends at the Cape where the strait meets the Pacific. The first photos are at Clallam Bay Spit County Park. The temperatures stayed in the 50's all day, but it was comfortable as long as the wind wasn't blowing.
Tomorrow we will be heading towards Mt Rainier, southeast of here. We are 8 miles short of having traveled 10,000 miles!
