Today Patrica told me that it is time for me to do the blog. Might have known that when we have the most photos to include it would be my turn.

We started out by leaving Blanding UT on Highway 95 going west, to route 12 and then to route 24 west to Escalante UT. Should have known it was going to be a very special day as within four miles we see a sign that says 8% grade ahead. We have not seen anything over 6% on the whole trip. The further along we got the better it got. Still cannot believe the sights that we saw today. I thought that I had seen a lot of our country but after today, not nearly enough.
